A personal styling project curating five designer looks for New York Fashion Week, balancing brand identity, client characteristics, and fashion-forward style decisions.
This assignment centred on the personal styling and image consulting of a client attending New York Fashion Week, September 2024. It required the development of five carefully curated looks tailored to specific runway events, aligning with both the brand aesthetics of designers such as Off-White, Carolina Herrera, Tory Burch, Toteme, and Michael Kors, and the client’s personal style preferences.
The project demanded skills in styling, accessorising, trend forecasting, body-shape analysis, and colour theory, ensuring each outfit flattered the client’s hourglass figure while reflecting the prestige of the events. Creative rationale was supported with brand research, event context, and styling justifications, demonstrating the ability to merge fashion theory with practical wardrobe solutions. Overall, highlighting the importance of adaptability, detail-oriented planning, and professional presentation in the fashion industry.
